What is the Micro Vibe?
The Voodoo Lab Micro Vibe delivers the same juicy, swinging tone as an original 1968 Uni-Vibe. Originally designed as a Leslie® rotating speaker simulator, the Uni-Vibe circuit is a variation of a four-stage phase shifter. While it didn’t do so well with keyboard players, it’s unique sound achieved legendary status when Jimi Hendrix used the effect on his Band of Gypsys record, and his landmark Woodstock performance of “The Star Spangled Banner.” Numerous recordings by guitar heroes like Robin Trower, David Gilmour, and Stevie Ray Vaughan also helped make the Uni-Vibe a tone classic.

Is the Micro Vibe a “digital” recreation of the Uni-Vibe?
No. The Micro Vibe’s signal path is completely analog! Micro Vibe includes the same sinewave oscillator, incandescent lamp, and photocells, which give the original Uni-Vibe its groovy swagger. Thanks to Voodoo Lab’s dedicated, guitar playing engineers, our Micro Vibe gives you the same lush, psychedelic colors of the original, but in an ultra-compact, pedalboard friendly 9V stompbox.

Does the Micro Vibe have True Bypass switching?
Yes. In fact, all Voodoo Lab pedals have True Bypass switching giving you absolutely no loss of tone when the pedal is bypassed.

Where is the Micro Vibe made?
Every Voodoo Lab product is hand built one at a time in our Northern California facility from the finest modern and vintage components. This along with rigorous quality control checks throughout production help ensure phenomenal performance and real world reliability. We’re so confident in our production that we offer a 5-year warranty on everything we make!

How much current do Voodoo Lab pedals draw?
None of our pedals draw more than 50mA

What are the dimensions of Voodoo Lab pedals?
The dimensions of the pedals are:
L 4 3/4" x W 3 3/4" x H 2"

Where is the serial number on Voodoo Lab pedals?
The serial number is noted on a sticker on the inside of the back cover of the pedal.

What does the Micro Vibe’s internal trimpot do?
There are various forum posts that have incorrectly identified the internal trimpot as a tonal or EQ adjustment. In actual fact, it applies to the oscillation effect which is directly related to the photocells inside. It is carefully set at the factory and was never meant to be adjusted post-production. Attempting to adjust it yourself can result in losing the effect entirely.

Unfortunately, a number of users have had to return their Micro Vibe to the factory to be re-adjusted because they couldn't get it back. We recommend that you do not adjust this trimpot!
