Just tried it and that doesn't seem to work.
Seems like the only way to switch the loop is with the footswitch or a CC.
Oh well...
I guess another option would be to use one of the Exp pedals on the GCP...

I haven't had much time to mess with it, but what I have done so far is hook up the foot switch and MIDI, fire it up and then use the foot switch to activate the fx loop. Then I can control everything with the GCP. It works, but I would like to not have to mess with the foot switch in a live situati...

Just wondering... Can the Pedal Power 2 Plus safely power a Shure PGX4 wireless receiver?
The power reqs for the PGX says 12-18Vdc at 150 mA. The PP2P would also be running a couple of distortion pedals, like a TS9 and an OCD.
