Re: 2 problems!
Ok - here is how it works. Keep in mind this is really more of configuring the response curve of a particular parameter on a particular patch, not a "global" response curve for the pedal. On the GM, select the patch where you want change the pedals response curve Press the MOD button Use the outer r...

Re: Expression Pedals For Ground Control Pro
Hey - I would recommend just using a Dunlop volume pedal. It's the same pedal/enclosure as used for the Crybaby. I have 2 and they work great.

Re: New GCP User - Pedal 2 question
Each device you control generally needs to be on its own channel. The reason is simple: if you send a midi program change to preset 1, do you want BOTH devices to change to patch 1? If they are both on the same channel, they may or may not depending on if one is connected to the other via a midi out...

Re: 2 problems!
Just an tip, but did you know you can control the response curve of the volume pedal when controlling the GM? When you define the CC, you can set what the min/mid/max settings are... Check the manual for details.

Re: quick gcx question
That is not entirely accurate... The DMC is older and I believe does not (or at some versions) have a buffered input. The VL ones have a "guitar in" and a "feed thru in", and the guitar in is buffered. Or it could be that both inputs on the DMC version are buffered... In any case, not exactly the sa...

Re: New GCP User - Pedal 2 question
I want to clarify what you mean when you say "I've got both devices on ch1". You have 3 midi devices: GCP, GSP and GM2. Which do you have on channel 1? If your intent is to control both the GSP and GM2 via midi, they should be on different channels so that each device knows what midi info is for it....

Re: Another Midi Footswitch?
If that GC was just controlling the Strymon, you could just connect a MIDI cable between the GC and Strymon...
I think you could also do what you are talking about with a MIDI-merge device, but I have no experience with those.

Re: Another Midi Footswitch?
Buy a used Ground Control (not Pro) on eBay... You can find them for $100 or so.
I've got an extra I would be willing to sell

Oops - just realized you said you already tried it directly in the loop.
