Re: Rack with a sliding shelf
Thanks for replying. I have it temporarily wired with the pedals on the shelf as a test. One of the problems I’ve encountered is the wall wart for the GCX, and the one for the Intellifex (which is even heavier). I can’t count on them staying plugged in to the rack mount power supply. I might need pi...

Rack with a sliding shelf
I recently got a six space rack to have room for the GCX and a pedal drawer. Unfortunately, I also got sick and haven't been able to swap from the small rack to this one. Fever finally broke, and I want to have this up for upcoming gigs. I'm trying to figure out the best way to handle the wiring (po...

Re: And so it begins
Just did a test of the GCX and the GCP with the little rack, and it was dead easy to set up. New source of phantom power, and since I already had a preset made that was intended to include my Tim pedal in loop 1, that preset now turns that loop on. I love that I could have mayhem happening with peda...

Voodoo Lab pedalboards
Are the dingbat boards able to house the GCP, and is there any room leftover for an expression pedal and tuner?

Re: And so it begins
I was lucky in that my old Intellifex has a phantom power jack that accepts the GCP power supply, and feeds it down the midi in jack via a 7 pin cable. The GCX has built in phantom power, so I can use a heavy duty 5 pin cable from the GCP to the GCX, and lose the wall wart going into the Intellifex....

And so it begins
Now that I have a GCX to work with, I can move forward with my rig project. I’ve been studying the worksheet and examples available to visualize the setup. Like many, I’m trying to simplify and shorten my set up time, and maximize reliability. What I want is this: my GCP on a pedalboard just big eno...

Re: GCP and Intellifex online
It would be nice if Rocktron included control numbers for its parameters in the manual.

Re: back in rack heaven
Interesting project. I realize I can eliminate a host of potential wiring mistakes/problems by adding a patch bay to my rack. The python is a great idea too.

Re: GCP and Intellifex online
I don’t have a lot of time in, programming CC commands...I set that expression pedal up years ago, I do have the original manual, although I’m not finding it overly helpful in this situation. Just in case...does anyone know of a rack multi effect that IS easy to do what I described?

GCP and Intellifex online
I know the Intellifex is an older piece of kit, but it’s been useful to me since it was new. Anyway, I have the GCP controlling a Mesa TC-50 (which is midi controllable) and the aforementioned Intellifex. I have the GCP in 4/8 mode and have had no trouble making presets to control them both...howeve...
