yeah, that unit looks pretty simple (that's a good thing!).
looks ideal for your application... I might look in to it too!

Re: Looking for a "mixer"
Hi ilovewasabi, I have been working on a similar problem with my rig - one line-level source and one instrument level source. The only difference is that my line level source is a MicroKORG instead of the piezo pickup. Please note that I haven't tried this setup yet, but I believe something similar ...

Re: Volume & Wah Pedal
Hi Ecollette, The pedal connections on the GCP are impedance to MIDI CC converters. I.e. they convert motion from the volume pedal into MIDI messages which can be used to control parameters in your MIDI equipment. Unless you have a MIDI-controlled VCA in your rig such as the Voodoo Lab System Mix Pl...

Re: Overdrive / Fuzz Signal Loss in GCX
Yup, all good now... Must have been a dodgey length of cable - I checked my soldering and it looked fine. I would like to comment that I am very impressed with the quality of the units (GCX and GCP). Two accolades I thought worth mentioning are; My wife thought it was cool that you could name preset...

Re: Questions about GCX and delay (and Whammy)
Hi Dawesy, No worries - glad I can be of help! Not sure on anyone doing mods - obviously that would invalidate your warraty, so be careful... ;) Bespeco is very plastic - feels pretty lightweight. I don't think it could stand much abuse. The action is light, and therefore it can move very fast. The ...

Re: Questions about GCX and delay (and Whammy)
Hi Dawesy, The repeats won't be heard after you've deactivated the loop - the signal chain goes thus; loop off loop 8 input > loop 8 output loop on loop 8 input > loop 8 send > [pedal] > loop 8 return > Loop 8 output Therefore when the loop is turned off, the output from the pedal is disconnected. H...

Re: Overdrive / Fuzz Signal Loss in GCX
OK, so I had a play last night and I have managed to get the DOD 250 sounding as it used to - I ended up putting the buffer after the distortion part of the signal chain. HOWEVER the Big Muff still sounds substantially quieter than when it is connected directly. It even sounds quiet when I plug my g...

Re: Short loop to loop cables
I bought these on eBay.. they're cheap and since they're not going to be plugged in and unplugged much they should last for ages. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Cable-Mono-Jack-Patch-Leads-x6-Multi-Colored-55mm_W0QQitemZ370241923993QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Computing_CablesConnectors_RL?hash=item5634236b99&_trks...

Overdrive / Fuzz Signal Loss in GCX
Hi There! I have an interesting problem where I lose volume when I switch in the loops for my DOD 250 overdrive or EHX Big Muff. My setup is as follows - Guitar > Buffered input of GCX Buffer Output > Loop 1 Loop-through > Boss TU-2 Tuner Loop 1 > Currently Unused Loop 2 > Digitech Whammy Loop 3 > D...
