Re: Patchbays!
mboogman, cheers for the info, it was a good idea but if it's just going to introduce noise, Definately Not worth pursuing then! Interesting though as a local guitarist I know of does something similar with some giant multicoresupercoolcable (not the technical term for it methinks ;)) which I believ...

Re: Using two amps - stereo or layer - your opinion?
Thanks for the reply mate, i appreciate it! Interesting setup too, i think i'm going to have to write that down to map it out as i'm having trouble keeping up with where everything's being routed! One thing i can tell you straight away is that if you've got one GCX loop to control your amps' Send, t...

Re: Need Help Designing a Pedalboard Switching System
Interesting to learn that about the GCX' grounding. I agree with the idea of a separate selector against preset selection for the same reasons John listed (on a side note if anyone can help out, I'm actually hoping to find a "reversed version" of Roland's US20 so I can A/B between two different hex-...

Using two amps - stereo or layer - your opinion?
Hey all, I'm looking into a setup I think I'd like for the future and would appreciate your opinions. I'd like to feed two amp signals into my System Mix Plus --- that's two amplifiers or two preamps plus a stereo poweramp. I already use stereo Delays and such, but only with one preamp. When using t...

Re: Midi Control of Video?
this interests me too i'm nowhere near getting into this type of setup, but i'm interested and was thinking it could be done by attaching the video to the song in protools or similar. the problem then would be, how to send the video to a projector, while still being able to leave the session open to...

Re: midi, power options for two GCX and one GCP
Bear in mind one Pedal Power AC will power each unit PLUS the GCP using only two of the four outputs! best power supplies!

Re: Patchbays!
I'd go battery too if it's just for a single wah pedal, however, if you really wanted to go that extra mile, perhaps John could weigh in on whether this would work or not? Five Pin Female Midi Connector from your rack to a Five Pin connector your pedal board. 5 pins: 1: rack to wah 2: wah to rack 3:...

Phantom power via System Mix Plus midi feed thru
Hi all, hope you're well. Been a long time since I've posted here. Been a crazy time but I'm settled into a new place and have finally got most of my music equipment (whatever's left of it) set up again :) My question is this: Can I phantom power a footpedal (in this case now a Rocktron All Access) ...
