Re: help with gcx,gcp,and pedal
well you gotta leave your bb on at all times. the gcx won't turn it on for you directly. and you should check your bb manual if it accepts 9volt dc. i'd imagine it does

Re: help with gcx,gcp,and pedal
if you're new to midi you should look at some websites that have a tutorial for it. you can't really get anymore clear than what the manual states. i doubt there is any video that teaches people how to use midi specifically with voodoo lab products. you might wanna try youtubing it. well, first of a...

Re: help with gcx,gcp,and pedal
hook the bb preamp to one of the loops in the gcx. im assuming you know how to hook your guitar and your amp to the gcx already. if not, here's a diagram. http://www.voodoolab.com/gcxdiagrams/01-Pedals_FXloop_AmpSw.pdf then i guess you can use an instant access on your gcp to control your bb preamp....

Re: TRS into GCX?
a guitar with a piezo. it has a stereo output jack. i know the diagram suggested to run a stereo y cable from the guitar and put the 2 mono ends at the guitar in and feed thru, but i was wondering if i can put a trs to trs to the guitar in, and then the stereo y cable at the guitar out. but i guess ...

Re: Setting Instant Access for Rocktron Intellifex-LTD
im not too fimiliar with the intellifex but if it's basically a multieffects i can help you out. you will want the remaining 5 instant access switches to be sending control change messages to a certain midi channel set on your ground control pro like CC 0 to channel 1, CC 1 to channel 3, CC 2 to cha...

Re: g-major patch switching with gcp&gcx
you have to send a program change to the g major on the preset and that program has to be assigned to your preset in the g major. make sure you turn on the loop in the gcx that is connected to the g major, which is loop 4 in your case. i have the exact same setup as you so let me find the page in th...

Re: GCX problem
I tried swapping the cables and I still heard the same radio stuff coming out. I'm going to try reducing the amount of gear going into the gcx... but it's not much right now at the moment. just a g major, chorus pedal, and an overdrive pedal.

Re: Omni Mode
i think omni mode is supposed to be set on devices that receive program changes. so depending on what kind of device you have, let's say a g major, then you set your g major to omni so it'll accept any kind of incoming program changes. you dont have to set your gcx or ground control pro to omni

GCX problem
I have a GCP hooked up to my GCX. When I try to power on the GCX, the active light goes on, the lights blink from 8 to 1 (or was it 1 to 8) and then all the lights turn off. I tried to turn it on and off quickly and that didn't work. I turned it off, waited a few seconds, and then turned it back on ...
