Re: Current Touring Rig

do you have any close up pics of the front panel of the modded GCX. I am really curious about this. Thanks a lot.

Ok awesome thanks for the advice. I am looking for a few other things as well so I will be calling Voodoo Lab on Monday to order all of this stuff. Thanks for the info once again.

Re: Can you use a parallel Y cable with the Sag outputs?

I am assuming it would be the PPY model of "Y" cable and not the PPEH24. Right?
Thanks again as always for all your help John. You rule!

Re: Can you use a parallel Y cable with the Sag outputs?

I am trying to figure out a way to power my Guyatone VT-X Tremelo pedal. Like I mentioned previously, I am really trying not to use the courtesy outlet. I hate the wall warts, and port 5 and 6 are already being used. I am not sure if there is a way to combine any of the other output ports to power i...

Can you use a parallel Y cable with the Sag outputs?

Is it possible to use the Sag Outputs of a PP2+ and a parallel cable to effectively get the right voltage and mA rating? I am trying to power a 12V pedal at 200mA without having to use the courtesy outlet, and ports 5 and 6 are already being used. So I was wondering if I sagged the output of ports 7...

Re: New RIG - Lots of Questions

ok so I was thinking about your dilemma, and came up with this solution... Now like I said before, there is not really a right or wrong way to do it... it just depends on what sounds you want to get. So definitely experiment with the order of your effects placement. And just go with whatever works b...

Re: Midi Problems.

What these guys are saying is definitely the way to go! I have read a lot about MIDI lately and most recommendations are that if you have more than 4 MIDI devices you should use some sort of splitter device. Dawesy recommended a great one ;) but obviously it isn't manufactured anymore :( but have no...

Re: Multiple preamp setup

Hey John, Thanks for the input. I totally didn't realize the redundancy of the GCX #1 loops 1 and 6. Thanks for pointing that out. As far as switching the pre-amps in and out of the signal, I just followed the example on pg.9 of the GCX manual for combining multiple amps... so I thought that I was o...

Re: New RIG - Lots of Questions

Where are you located and what sort of music do you play? Are you in a specific band? or do you mostly just play whatever? That will definitely help determine a lot of stuff. And you are running just the one head for an amp? Because that will also answer a lot of set up stuff. Stereo vs. Mono type q...
