Re: Control Switcher problems?

So my unit is going back to VL for repairs.

Sucks but I am confident that when it is repaired it will be awesome. I love VL products, and I can't wait to get the switcher back.

Control Switcher problems?

Hi there, I am trying to get my Roadster to play nice with my control switcher. Thanks to dom for some very helpful tips, but now I am running into the problem that it appears as though my switch 1 on the the control switcher is always on. I tried pressing buttons 2 &3 and powering the unit and then...

Re: Tap Tempo Pedal Build for the GCP

This is as simple, useful and amazing as it gets!

Thank you for this very valuable contribution. I think I have to build one for myself now :)

Re: Control Switcher and Traynor YCS100H2

So I am sad (and happy at the same time) to announce to anyone interested in a working solution for the Traynor that I finally found a solution that works!!!! Yes, after much deliberation I got rid of the amp. I replaced it with a Mesa Boogie Roadster!!! I have to say thanks to John for his help, an...

Re: Mesa Rectifier Roadster Rig

How do you control the other functions such as solo, reverb, fx on your roadster? Do you use the G-Major to control these?

Thanks!

Re: Control Switcher and Traynor YCS100H2

Yes, I figured I would need a second control switcher to get the other functions on the amp working. Does it mean I get one for free for being a very patient customer? ;) On a completely unrelated question: Is it possible to assign CC's to quick access buttons on the GCP on certain patches, and assi...

Re: Control Switcher and Traynor YCS100H2

That is OK John, I have formally given up on Traynor as I never found their support to be that interested in helping me integrate their amp with a midi rig. I am switching to a Mesa Roadster, so John, I will ask again... Will it work with that amp? Does the Control Switcher share a ground with all t...

Re: Control Switcher and Traynor YCS100H2

OK, so it has been several months, and still no reply? Wow, I know there is activity in this forum because I see people getting their questions answered, but if this whole device not jiving with my amp is the way it will always be, then please at the very least say so instead of just ignoring me. Oh...

Re: Control Switcher and Traynor YCS100H2

So John, have you not heard anything or have any suggestions?

I would really like to know if this was an exercise in futility and just move on if that is the case.

Thanks.

Re: Control Switcher and Traynor YCS100H2

Nothing yet. As described above, the way the YCS100H2 does channel switching is kind of weird. For some reason channel switching is not done by connecting the "channel" wire to the ground and leaving it there, in fact, it connects it for just a moment and then it reverts back to what looks like an o...
