Suggestions on Cables
Hey all, I have my rack routed with Planet Waves soderless cables. Since I had bought them when I purchased my rig I didn't think about the plugs and I purchased the effect patch sets. Awesome cables just all right-angles. So plugging into the GCX is a pain. The website has the straight jacks, but t...

Re: Problems with Channel Switching
Its been awhile since I've posted. Since last time my rig has been running great. But now I want to use the effects loop. Now my effects loop doesn't work when switching channels. Do I need a custom cable? Been using a Ring/Tip Insert cable.
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Rack shelves
I have a case that held two heads and converted the top to a rack. So I only have 11 inches to work with. I ended up fabricating a sliding shelve I bought at GC. I cut the rolling arms down to fit. Although it's a rough slide, it works. I wish they made the heavy duty sliders smaller than a foot. I ...

Re: Problems with Channel Switching
Ok thanks. I'm gonna try a combination of things. The effects loop is tricky I don't use it at all plus the pedal doesn't have a light to tell me if it's on or off. I'm gonna try the insert cable. If it works, do I run the loop for the input of the amp before or after the channel switch? Also is it ...

Re: Problems with Channel Switching
I have a footswitch from a 6505 that i have used before. I never needed to push the front in button. I have tried that and it didn't
work. I am using a mono instrument cable. Stereo maybe? Not gonna use the effects loop.
