Making Shorter Cables For ISO 5

I've built my own board and will need very short cables from each of my 2 ISO 5s to the pedals. Can I order some right angle plugs, cut and strip the stock cables that came with the ISO 5s, and put on your right angle plugs?

Thanks.

Re: I Want To Use 2 ISO 5's On My Board...

Thanks. I was hoping there wouldn't be an issue running the Timeline on one ISO and the Mobius on the other since they'd be sharing the power supply with pedals that were in front. Didn't want to cause a ground loop issue. But I assumed since each outlet is isolated, that would not be a problem. Tha...

I Want To Use 2 ISO 5's On My Board...

Any concerns with connecting them with a Y adapter underneath since there is no courtesy outlet? I'll be running 5 pedals in front of the amp and a Timeline and Mobius in the loop.

Thanks.

Re: GCX With a Ground controll programing

I opened the pedal and no matter how far I turn the pot it just doesn't send anything over 125. I'm going to get a pair of Y cables tomorrow and try using the In/Out jacks.

Re: GCX With a Ground controll programing

I'll try the In/Out jacks with a "Y". Then I'll try opening it and getting to the pot.

Re: GCX With a Ground controll programing

Any reason to think the Boss FV-500H is not "compatible" with the Ground Control Pro? Boss seems to think so.

Anyone else using one here?

Thanks.

Re: GCX With a Ground controll programing

But it's so sexy.

Bad MIDI cable for sure. Going to GC tonight. Now the last hurdle is to get my expression pedal to go from 0 to 127. For some reason it tops out at 125. Thanks Josh!

Re: PLEASE HELP!!!

First, go back to just the GCX and confirm you have no buzz. Then add the wah to the path and see if you get buzz. If not, add the tuner and see if there is buzz. One of those pedals is creating the buzz. How are you powering them? Battery? AC? It could even be one of the cables you're using to conn...

Re: GCX With a Ground controll programing

At this point, the only thing I can think it might be is a bad midi cable to the Whammy. Midi path is actually simple: GCX->M4->Axe->Whammy. I tried having only the Whammy in the MIDI path and it still didn't work. But I used the same cable so that's why I think it's bad. I'll try a different cable ...

Re: GCX With a Ground controll programing

Just want to be clear that while i do see the values for the pedal movement change, it still doesn't actually affect the sound. And it seems the program changes I'm sending are getting there either. I have midi out from the GCX to midi in on Egnater M4, midi out from M4 to midi in on Axe FX, midi th...
