Re: MIDI Devices with GCP?
I haven't tried this....but could you set up a device as OMNI on the GCP and send data out to 16 devices using that device that is set up as OMNI?

Re: Passive Vol/Exp pedal problem...
Yes that is right dawesy1986....12 different sounds, and actually more, like I was saying you can call up the same mode with diff setting, like less gain or more vol, ect, but with different CCssoreally you could have 128 different channel configurations.

Re: Passive Vol/Exp pedal problem...
With the JVM, when calling up a channel, the MIDI remembers, Master Vol 1 and 2, channel controls (vol, bass, mid, treb, gain), Reverb and FX loop. You can also call up the same mode with different settings (like reverb on/off, fx on/off, channel vol, Master vol, etc.) with numerous CC's. I am just ...

Re: Passive Vol/Exp pedal problem...
Ya the manual doesn't have much in it for the midi, I'll have to contact Marshall I guess. I love this amp it is great. You can pretty much dial in any tone you want out of this thing. It has 4 channels, and each channel has 3 modes to it, so essentially I have like 12 channels. It is a machine for ...

Re: Passive Vol/Exp pedal problem...
If I can't get this figured out with my amp, I guess I will have to control the volume on my G-Major 2 instead, let's see if I can get that to work......., Also your idea of creating a new device for global volume control over all of the devices with "Omni" set up as a MIDI channel sounds like an in...

Re: Passive Vol/Exp pedal problem...
Hi Dawsey....yes my JVM410 is set to channel 1 as I am switching amp channels from my GCP. Before I wrote this post I was able to also see the numbers increase and decrease on my G-Major 2 display as I was sweeping my pedal, but I haven't set the G-Major 2 up yet for this, so I know that the the GCP...

Passive Vol/Exp pedal problem...
I have a Mission passive volume pedal plugged into my GCP P1 jack. I have P1 "ON" in the Pedal menu. In my presets, I have P1 set up to send control 007 through MIDI channel 1 which is my JVM410 head to control the volume on my amp. I can see the numbers increase and decrease on the GCP as i sweep m...

Re: mA question --> 2x9v outputs powering 18v wah
The mA rating on the adapter or power supply doesn't mean that this is the current it will put into a load, but rather this rating on the adapter or power supply is what the adpater/power supply can take. If your wah pedal draws 150ma as a load, and you power it with a 300ma adapter, it will just us...

GCP
Hello and Happy New Year Everyone!
Just a quick question....could someone tell me what the "Global PGM" under the Utilitiy on the GCP is used for....it doesn't mention it in the manual at all.

Re: GCXmidi switching and exp control problems.
For your first paragraph, you may have confliting PM's or CC's or channels between the devices you are having problems with....I would first double check that you are not sending the same #'s. You might have somehow had the devices learn the same PM's or CC's either from the same or different channe...
