The new models from Boss have separate variations intended for expression pedal or volume pedal use. I haven't seen anyone do that before.

This is a redundant and meaningless statement. Every passive volume pedal can be used as an expression pedal.

This is not an issue. Continuous controls don't work like that at all. It is not possible for what you fear to happen.

The taper on any expression or volume pedal is not going to be correct for a wah effect. The only such pedal that would work correctly is the Dunlop DCR-1FC, which is made for Dunlop's rack wah. I have a question about the Eleven Rack. Will it allow me to custom link the effects modules like a GSP2101 or a G Force?

I don't have one. But I have purchased things on ebay that didn't have the original footswitch and have discovered that not just any replacement will do.

Is there any 7 to 5 pin MIDI cable you can get for the Ground Control Pro that will allow you to connect the power adaptor to the cable?

Are the Control Switcher footswitch ports selectable between on/off and momentary operation?
