Right I just found my own answer from John on a different thread! Here's the answer In order to make the status of your re-programmed Instant Access buttons match with patches you are recalling on any MIDI device, you must save the state of the Instant Access button to your Ground Control Pro preset...

Hey bud! Thanks for the reply! I think I understand it it now - going to check the RM4 tonight and find out which MIDI channel its set to... So when it says S1-4 etc,, just relates to one of the intrernal switches and there can be 16 channels, cause there can be 16 different combinations.. yea - tha...

Thanks for the reply! Ok im using just the RM4 and a G Major... Now Im guessing that because I plugged the RM4 in first and set the RM4 as MIDI channel 1 on the GCP that should be fine yea?.. Also when you say program change 1 does that mean I have to set an instant access button for each preamp cha...

GCP + RM4 Switching

Hey all! Just new to the forum and new to MIDI... I simply want to change my amp channels on the Randall RM4 MTS, using my newly purchased Vodoo Lab GCP... Both are MIDI controlled devices, am guessing this should be very simple... And Im sure I won't need a GCX is this correct??? Can anyone tell me...
