Mr Clark asked for pics
Hello all This is my rig, :D I like to tinker, and I am a gear head with OCD evidently. And no, it would not be practical as a touring rig, but could be simplified for that easily. For me, The tone is great, and it works when I fire it up. I use the 2 GCP for 20 available presets without going...

Re: question for the pros
John
Thanks so much for the reply. Can I use the contol switchers just as midi devices, I thought each switcher would be recognized as one of the expanders / GCX 1-4 when used with GCP
Thanks
Lee

question for the pros
I am running 4 GCX, and 2 GCP, for 20 available presets without using any banks. I need to add one more GCX if at all possible. can I add it as another midi device, I know I can use the two GCP independently and add up to four more, but then I would lose control of #1-4 GCX with the 2nd GCP..or woul...

Re: line mixer and gcx
Nyteowl, thanks for the response well the actual rig is 8 heads, 3 GCX, 2 VL amp switchers and GCP I run the amp switchers because I do combine some of the amps. usually two at a time for 4 basic sounds ( clean, dirty, 80s type metal, and ultra heavy) but I can run individuals, or combine more depen...

line mixer and gcx
This is a question for those in the know for simplicity sake..lets say i have four amps, a gcx, a 8 channel line mixer, a amp selector and one processor. I want to use the processor in the loops of all amps, none will run at same time, but want to be able to switch between amps and have different ef...

GCX Stuff
I thought I would throw in a post on some things I see asked about. I am now only a practice room player, and my rig is fairly complex simply because it can be. 7 different heads (in any configuration or all at once) channel switching for each head VL GCP 3 GCX 2 VL amp switchers 2 processors (1 in ...

8 amp setup...its alive and a thank you
a few years ago i posted on an odd setup with seven heads that could be used independently or together. I have two gcx and a ground control, two amp switchers, chandler tube driver, lexicon, boogie dual rec, 5150, laney vh100, marshall dsl, orange and two randall rm 50s with different modules. I fin...

I would like to thank in advance the people on this forum for helping me and everyone else out. :) I know it can get frustrating answering so many questions. I had posted about a rig Im setting up. I think I sort of understand some of the logistics now. Ive added a second GCX, plus two amp switchers...
