OK so I tested a few things, (and enjoyed life playing the guitar ;-)...) but unfortunately nothing solved the pop issue... 1. I tried what you said. 2. Thanks for your reply...but I don't understand exactly what you mean...
could you please tell how to route the cables?
do you mean:
loop 3 out -> guitar in (front of gcx)
guitar out-> amp in
?
does that mean that i have to connect my guitar directly into loop 1 in ?

Hi! I recently purchased a used gcp with gcx version 1.01 However I noticed a pop sound when switching my loops on and off... i run the gcp in 4 presets/ 8 ii mode. i just got a fulltone fulldrive in loop 1, an xotic bb in loop 2, and a ocd in loop 3. amp switching (budda superdrive) with out of loo...
