Re: GCX - A+B+Y Wet/Dry Question
loop 1-6 has Whammy, OD's, Fuzz, Echo's, from Loop 6 out it goes to a looper and then back to be split or something else if you suggest something better for my situation.

Re: GCX - A+B+Y Wet/Dry Question
Thanks John and nyteowl. You are correct nyteowl - I would like to be able to have these options: Wet (Amp 1) Dry (Amp2) Wet (Amp 2) Dry (Amp1) Wet (Amp1) Wet (Amp2) The setup you described John will get me only the first two options and not be able to have either amp on independently. Is there a wa...

GCX - A+B+Y Wet/Dry Question
I have a GCX, two amps and effects. I've been trying to achieve a wet/dry setup only using two loops on the GCX. What I want to get from it is this: Wet (Amp 1) Dry (Amp2) Wet (Amp 2) Dry (Amp1) Wet (Amp1) Wet (Amp2) Dry (Amp1) - not 100% necessary Dry (Amp2) - not 100% necessary Right now what I ha...

Re: GCX A/B.. Y?
Thanks, John! To give you an update: I did everything as you stated, but instead of having my "dry" feed go to both amps I made it only go to my fender twin. That way I can have: VHT+Twin (wet) Twin (wet) VHT (wet) or VHT (wet) + Twin (dry) Twin (dry) and maybe... VHT+Twin (wet) + Twin (dry) I think...

Re: GCX A/B.. Y?
I'm going to have to draw it out on this one!
So, just to be clear...
"3. "Effect" feed to the Return of both GCX Loop 7 and GCX Loop 8 using a Y Cable."
Does this mean from my last effect used - Y cable feeds the return of both loop 7 and loop 8?
Thanks, John!

Re: GCX A/B.. Y?
Ok, here are some that I can think of right now. 1. Twin (clean no fx) 2. VHT (clean no fx) 3. Twin w/ Fuzz 4. Twin w/ Overdrive 5. VHT w/ overdrive 6. VHT w/ overdrive + clean boost 7. VHT + Twin w/ overdrive 8. VHT w/Overdrive + Twin (clean) 9. VHT w/ Fuzz 10. VHT w/ overdrive + ring mod 11. VHT w...

Re: GCX A/B.. Y?
Sure! I have my guitar going to the input of the front of the first GCX. From here I want the signal to essentially flow in to an A/B/Y. My effects are: Goose fuzz, whammy, boss ps-3, yamaha magicstomp, lexicon vortex, fulldrive, hot cake, m9, moog ring mod, fuzz, dl4, jamman solo into either a twin...

Re: GCX A/B.. Y?
I had a look at the "combining multiple amps" and it does help for my initial (first) A/B/Y but puts a stop to the second A/B/Y. Yes, the amps will be on at the same time and used individually so they will have their own loops. Referring to the 'combining multiple amps' diagram it has a y-cable goin...

GCX A/B.. Y?
I just bought a second gcx because I needed to add a few more pedals to my rig. My question though, is regarding the use of the gcx as an a/b/y pedal. I know I can do A/B switching but is it possible to maybe use two of the loops (I have a few extra's) to have this work? My reason for wanting this i...

Re: Signal path question with GCX
It sounds good, but I was hoping to only use 2 of the loops because I actually don't need the dl4 to be in a loop... it can be though! Would this work? Out from previous loop: Y-Splitter 1) out to the in to DL4 IN - DL4 OUT (Y-Splitter) to Loop A Return/Loop B Return 2) out to the IN of Loop A Loop ...
