Wanted to update this thread for the future reference.
My pedals were in fact plugged in backwards with the ring on the output of the pedal.
Its weird how that makes one control both, but I am not an electronic engineer.

Re: G Major 2 and Ground Control Pro and Expression Pedals
Sorry for the mess of a post yesterday...it was right before band practice.
Let me clarify....
One of my pedals controls volume just fine, the other for some reason is controlling the effect parameter AND the volume.

Re: expression pedal and whammy
there is a very small switch inside the volume pedal. Just put the volume pedal to zero, under the footpad near the string is the switch. Flip the switch and it will change the volume curve to a slower rate. I have the 25K pedal and I am pretty sure there is no taper switch on it. Its only the 250k...

G Major 2 and Ground Control Pro and Expression Pedals
I cannot get both expression pedals working properly. EX1 seems to control the volume fine and is set to CC7. EX2 is on CC16 and seems to control the volume AND the effect parameter. The Tap tempo pedal is plugged into the jack on the G Major 2 and works fine. The G Major 2 has the Global Input Leve...

You are correct, it defaults to 007. I will assume when I finally get another patch cable that Ex 2 will be as you say.JohnClark wrote:What software version is your Ground Control Pro running? This is displayed at the end of the startup splash screen.

Re: ISO 5 & VL Ground Control Pro
Sorry, the other way around...can it power the Pedal Switcher and still let the Pedal Switcher power the Ground Control?JohnClark wrote:The Pedal Switcher does not accept phantom power.

...and phantom power a Pedal Switcher? But I would probably be more interested in the PP2+.JohnClark wrote:The High Current 9V output on the ISO-5 can be used to power a Ground Control Pro.

Don't you also have to have Xmit w/preset for the IA switch?

Re: ground control and expresion pedal
Bingo. I kept scrolling over MidOut on the g major thinking that was Midi something....not a mid point shift.
I have to say this is probably one of the most convenient support systems I can think of. Not because its a forum but because you guys actually answer with relevant information. Thanks.

Re: Expression pedals "on" automatically for every preset?
I just set it to 008 cause I didn't know any better. But I will play with it a bit more. It seems that even 007 is something I have to manually set in each preset.
I might just wipe it clean and do reset now that I have probably botched everything up in the learning process.
