What cable do you use on your boards ?

Maplin sell the correct cables for that mate.

Does the PP2+ have enough power to supply an extension and subsequent appliances ?

I recently heard the preamp and I really want to get one, but if it's being improved, I can wait a while.

However if it's going to be a long time, I need to look for a different product.

Any chance of an effects loop ?
That would make it a must have for me.

It doesn't generate much heat at all.

I've got the same set up and have used my PP2+ under the pedals for years and 100's of gigs with no issues at all.
