No problem. Set amp's impedance according to the label on the back of the cab.

Re: Setting up my GCP and GCX rig for the first time
As a rule: all time-based fx after distortion so if you run your amp clean and use the pedals for drive, put the rack-units between the stompboxes and the amp. If you're using the amps overdrive a loop could come in handy. On the order of the pedals: experiment the simple way (with patchcables and w...

Re: Speaker Splitter Box
Personally I would put a different jackplate in the cabs which permit you to add a second jack but that's me.
Otherwise, any (local) electrician worth his or her salt should be able to build you what you're asking for.

Re: Expression Pedal controlling loop status?
I believe the Dunlop DCR-2SR is true bypass, but I cannot find any documentation that confirms this. Sorry for intruding. I can help here. Dunlop claims it's true bypass but I can definately hear a difference between the unit switched off but in the signalpath and taken out of the path alltogether....

Re: Ground Control Program Change w/Displayed Instant Access
Well if you can force the LS42 to listen on MIDI channel 16 and respond to Control Change messages 80-83 then you will be able to do what you want to do. I must point out again that the only way to make the Instant Access buttons act independently from the presets, as you are wanting to do, require...

Re: Ground Control Program Change w/Displayed Instant Access
Lets try this another way... Your Instant Access buttons, what exactly is the device are they controlling? Also, what are they programmed as... are they GCX Loop controllers or did you re-program them to a specific MIDI channel and Control Change message? It's this: http://www.advancetubetech.com/p...

Re: Ground Control Program Change w/Displayed Instant Access
Only one thing now: when I switch from any given preset to another preset, all the IA switches that are activated at that time stay on (or off) but their corresponding Led's turn off. When I re-press that particular IA-button(s) the first time the Led comes up again and the switch stays on. Pushing...

Re: Ground Control Program Change w/Displayed Instant Access
I guess I missed the part where you have one switch on your switcher that is to be included with the presets... but the only way you can make the buttons work independently is if the Instant Access buttons are set as GCX controllers rather than re-programed to user defined Control Change messages o...

Re: Ground Control Program Change w/Displayed Instant Access
Ah ha... well that changes everything, Giga. What you want is for the Instant Access buttons to be independent of the presets. This can be done but it all depends on how you control your switcher. If you are controlling your switcher using default GCX Control Change messages, then you will want to ...
