Cool, good question. Yes, like John points out - the MIDI output connectors today on MIDI boards are 5-pin or 7-pin DIN-connectors (like the GCP have). The reason we use a patch-box (with XLR) is to make everything sturdier "for the road". This is something you don't need to have to make good music....

20 inches of 3M Dual Lock (SJ3560) can work. It will not attach on unpainted wood. Maybe you need to put some more black paint under the board? Let it dry for 24 hours. Make sure the PP is clean. Thanks! The G90 is awesome. It's the best consumer wireless I've heard. I custom made a patch-box for the board. The XLR cables are XLR3 for audio, volume pedal (1=shield, 2=hot, 3=not in use). The other are for MIDI, tap tempo, remote Wah-Wah, 9 VAC etc, they are XLR7. I have my business in Scandin...
