Re: How do I make a better cable?
Hey a2dconverter Thanks for the response! I tested with the ohmeter and I found out that i am getting some sort of continuity between the lead and the ground. I'm going to try buying nicer ends (switchcraft/neutrik) and look at different brands of cable ) Evidence Audio Monorail) or get the nicer Mo...

How do I make a better cable?

My effects don't sound the same in the rack as the do when i plug straight in. For example, when i plug my guitar into my OCD and then into...

Re: New rack with GCX & GCP...
Thanks for the response! huge help. so just a little clarification.. you use XLR to for power and MIDI data? is there a different between XLR (like a mic cable) and XLR7? Sorry if I sound like an idiot. I'm a 17 year old out of the U.S. and this forum is my lifeline to making my rig as nice as these...

Hey guys so I'm making a patchbay that I'm putting on the back of my rack. I have a bunch of 1/4" outputs, 1 midi output, and now I'm trying to figure out power...i just drilled holes in a blank rack space. I'm soldering guitar cables to just normal 1/4" inputs i screwed in. The Midi is just a midi ...
