Re: How to Phantom Power a Control Switcher

I see I started the confusion earlier... oops! Getting out my trusty internet white-out! The Control Switcher will always apply power to pins 1 and 3 on its MIDI In jack. The jumpers only connect or disconnect the "phantom power" pins on the MIDI Out jack. Because you want to phantom power your Con...

Re: How to Phantom Power a Control Switcher

Just double checking...so... if I send phantom power to the control switcher's 'midi out' port from my preamp, it WILL NOT continue to send that power out through the 'midi in' of the control switcher and back to the other midi devices earlier in my chain. Basically, I want it to accept the midi pha...

Re: Ground Question with PP2+ & Digital

How are all the voodoo supplies grounded? Are they grounded to the enclosure chassis or just through the power plug?

I have a Voodo Pedal Power AC, PP2+ and Digital in my rig. I'm still in the troubleshooting phase...

Re: Voodoo Power Supplies and Voltage Regulator ?????

P-1800 AR (voltage regulator) + Pedal Power AC = more buzzy PPAC P-1800 PFR (power conditioner) + Pedal Power AC = very little buzz PPAC Same goes for the PP2+. I bought some shorter power chords off amazon.com to use for both devices. Is it possible that I bought the wrong type of power chord? They...

Re: Pedal Power,AC supply on the back, Can I plug my amp in

Not unless you are running a tiny little amp. At 120 volts, the PP2+ only supports 200 watts through the courtesy outlet. That's approximately 1.6 amps. You can look up the wattage on your amp to see how much it draws. It is most likely it won't stay under 200 watts or 1.6 amps. Just don't do it.

Voodoo Power Supplies and Voltage Regulator ?????

I have a very interesting and mind boggling issue. I have a PP2+ and a Pedal Power AC. I also have two products from Furman: a P-1800 PFR (power conditioner) and P-1800 AR (voltage regulator). When I plug the Voodoo supplies into the P-1800 PFR, they make virtually no noise. However, when I plug the...

Re: PP2+ and 9-18v pedal

Thanks, John. I decided to feed it a regulated 12v using the first output set to away. I don't want any chance of hum.

The info was great to know too!

Re: PP2+ and 9-18v pedal

Awesome! Thank you! So, switching outlet #5 away will produce 50ma of regulated power at 14.5 volts, correct? I've read the manual and website specs and this is what I understand from reading them, but I want to make sure. Additionally, if I switch switch #6 away, it will produce 12v at 200ma but it...

PP2+ and 9-18v pedal

I have a Analogman Mini Chorus Pedal. It can take 9v-18v. What is the best outlet to use on the PP2+ to run this? Here is what they say on their website (but I'm not entirely sure what it means): "You can use the ACA (12V) output on PedalPower2 for any of our chorus pedals. Use the normal PP2 boss s...
