Need help! GCX & GCP & G Major 2 & Mesa Boogie MKIV
Does anyone live in Glasgow, and would like to make a few bucks? I have no hair left after trying to work out setting this all up. I have a G System that is real easy to program, but is kinda noisy so I bought this rig to try (as it was highly recommended) So far, I have managed to set up the connec...

Re: Mesa Dual Rectifier + GCP + GCX + GMajor = ?
Hi John, can I get away with that only using 2 loops for 3 channels trick with my Mesa Boogie Mark IV?

Re: CUSTOMISING THE SWITCHES ON THE GCP
Thanks mate, I wondered if it was possible to have only the bottom row of switches on the GCP represent the amp channels (i.e. so that switches 1-8 can be used solely for the effects instead of 3 of those switches being reserved for the amp channels (hope I explained this right) )? I have a G-System...

CUSTOMISING THE SWITCHES ON THE GCP
Hi John, I recently bought the Ground Control Pro and GCX Audio Switcher, have it set up for 4 presets per bank and have connected loops 6, 7, and 8 from the GCX to the channel switching on my Mesa Boogie Mark IV (as these loops are designed for amp switching?) and plan to use the remaining loops on...

Re: Buying a US GCX, living in the UK........
Hi Badmelon, thanks for the advice anyway mate. Good to know that the Line 6 power supply is working for ya as I have one for an old pedal I don't use. John, I asked the authorised Voodoo Lab UK dealer about sending a 3 pin plug version to keep in line with our wall sockets and they said the only 24...

Re: Buying a US GCX, living in the UK........
Thanks for the tip Badmelon, but I plan to power the GCP with the GCX, and the GCX requires a 9v AC Power Supply with 4 pins at the end (like a midi cable), and have enough juice to power up the GCP.
Cheers

Re: Buying a US GCX, living in the UK........
Hi John, got my GCX and Ground Control Pro today!! Super excited! As per your previous post, I contacted a UK Voodoo Lab dealer from the Voodoo Lab website who sell the UK Power supply for the GCX, BUT, it still only has 2 pins! I've been advised that I will need to cut the 2 pin plug off, and hard ...
