Parts Needed
I have an out-of-warranty GC Pro, and the "#9" switch has become intermittent\unreliable. I have taken the unit apart, and find that the tactile switch itself is fine - works every time I press it, so the problem must be in the actuator assembly or actuator spring. Can someone tell me how\where to g...

Re: GCP update V2
@Ibenijs: Can't say that I blame you. An update for this controller is long overdue, and Voodoo Lab doesn't seem to want to publish one. They're clearly not interested in this market space anymore. Whatever the reason, the update hasn't happened. I've stopped recommending the GCP, in favour of the R...

Re: Phantom power forGCP
The GCP will accept 9v across the outermost pins on a 7-pin DIN connector, or the outermost pins (1 and 3) on a 5-pin DIN connector. AC or DC will work, but AC is easier for DIY, because you don't have to worry about polarity. I power my GCP over a 5-pin MIDI cable. MIDI itself only uses the middle ...

Re: New GCP Firmware?
Dom, you're not being an a$$. My choice of words may have been a bit harsh. I did a fair bit of research before buying the GCP, and yes, I overlooked a couple of details. But there had also been rumours of a V2.0 firmware for some time, that I had hoped would be forthcoming and address some of the d...

New GCP Firmware?
Are we going to see new firmware for the Ground Control Pro? Someone should be able to answer this once and for all. And if it's coming soon, what's included? I don't mean to sound like a ****, but I have to tell it like it is. The GCP is a good controller, but lacks some functionality, and with the...

Re: Expression Pedal Calibration
Do you mean what effect am I using it for, or what device am I controlling with it? If you meant what effect, I'm using it for wah, so it's not a big deal for me - in fact, because it doesn't sweep the entire range, it's more authentic (as I've said before, because of physical limitations, Cry Babys...

Re: Expression Pedal Calibration
Can't swap the in and out, it's hard-wired. That said, I should have been more clear. When testing the wiring before installing the pot into the pedal, it would in fact go from 0% to 100% (0-127 on the GCP). The limited sweep range is definitely due to the design of the pedal itself (Dunlop pedals i...
