Is this a known issue with Flyrig's at this point? Thinking of adding one to my touring board but that kind of noise in the signal chain will render it unusable in a live situation for me.

As a follow-up to this thread...the 12v jack on the Sony wireless receiver is proprietary, and the standard barrel plug does not fit. Looks like I'll be plugging it into the courtesy outlet. Oh well, I guess that's precisely why it's there!

Thanks for the reply, John! Here more info that I found: "Consumption current: During 12v DC input: 90 mA During 9v DC input: 120 mA" Would positions 5 or 6 away from normal be too much? So, given the choices, which would better -- and safely -- power it? And yes, you are correct -- it's the ZRX-C30.

Wondering if/how the PP2+ can power this wireless unit. I currently run it off the stock Sony 12v power supply, although it does have a separate 9v input as well. I've read that some users have issues running it off 9v, especially for high gain applications. I'd rather not test that theory in a live...

I had the Stereo Electric Mistress, and the PP2+ powered it just fine.
