Re: Why is the Analog Chorus so bad with drive pedals?

Just curious, what tuner are you using? Just to be sure, all the of the pedals before the Analog Chorus are true bypass?

Re: Where are the Wahzoos?

We are just in the process of getting Musician's Friend set up. Hopefully by next week, Wahzoo will appear on the site and be in stock!

Re: Other midi unit controls gcx?

Tuf, That's not going to work. A GCX does not store patches like your GP8 does. So sending a program change, which is what your foot controller that works with the GP8 will do, is not happening. The loops of a GCX are turned on by a Control Change MIDI message, not a Program Change. Sorry. That's a ...

Re: amp selector questions

Wharris, Really, the best way to run that is to go from your guitar, into your pedalboard and then the Amp Selector. Then your pedals can run in front of either amp. As for the guitars, Amp Selector only handles 1 guitar input. Which for most people, minus maybe Michael Angelo Batio, can only play o...

Re: daisey chain 6 peddles .. good or bad

Zac, are you trying to run 6 pedals off a single Pedal Power output? If you are, the thing to remember is that you can max out a 100mA output very fast. A single effect like delay or chorus can push at least 40mA by themselves. Also, even if you had a bunch of low mA pedals like overdrives and a wah...

Re: Control Switcher

Peter, that should be just fine. Control Switcher can also respond to standard program changes. I just did a test with a PodXT Live multi-effect floor unit. Control Switcher can be put into "program change" mode and you can save the presets right from the Control Switcher. I had the XT Live sending ...

Re: Running Ableton Live 8 w/ GCP (using Mac OS X!!)

I've been looking at this stuff for a while. Unfortunately, to do what Kid does, you'll really need to use Bome's Midi Translator application. From what I saw, he does multiple keystrokes that are triggered from a single footswitch. Unless the latest version of LIVE allows you to map that, Bome seem...

Re: Jamie Kime

Thanks for the compliment! Well, I've gone through many versions of my main board. That last gig board I took out was a fun one with a bunch of old stuff. Hey, what good is having cool old gear if you don't take it out and PLAY it! The setup was an original '66 Fuzz Face, Tycobrahe Octavia, and Uni-...
