Re: Help with GCX and CAE rs-10
Ok I talked to Bob Bradshaw last night. He said the same thing: "Just bend pins 1 to 3 and 6 to 7 and solder them." If not this it what can be used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rocktron-RDMH900-5-pin-7-Pin-MIDI-Cable-/180802914864?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a18b18a30 What's in red - I'm not sure w...

Re: Help with GCX and CAE rs-10
I've been chasing this for a few weeks - I recently added a Liquid Foot controller to replace my Ground Control Pro, and the LF requires 7-pin phantom power midi, like the CAE. The GCX puts out 9VAC on pins 1 and 3, but the CAE rs-10 is looking for power on pins 6 and 7. Unfortunately, nobody makes ...

Re: Furman conditioner > GCX power in. Is there a cable?
If I'm not mistaken, the PP2+ is a DC power supply and the GCX requires 9VAC, so PP2+ is not going to work. A Pedal Power AC would do the job, though. You need something that's going to step the 120VAC incoming voltage down to 9VAC, whether it's the original wallwart adapter or the PPAC. What would ...

Re: GCP Global Instant Access Switches?
Sorry, I misunderstood. Presets within the GCP will remember only what you program into them, including whether an IA switch is on/off. If you modify a GCP preset by stepping on an IA switch, the only way it'll be lit when you change presets is if it's programmed that way already. It sounds l...

Re: GCP Global Instant Access Switches?
Try this: Step on Program Change 3 (Preset 3), then step on IA 1 so that it lights up. Hit Edit > Bank Up > Bank Down > Edit and Save (or whatever it prompts you to do to save - I don't have my GCP in front of me). Now when you leave Preset 3 and come back to it, IA 1 should be lit and stepping on i...

Re: TC G Major 2 Instant Access
That's the way I've had my system for years - you can use a given IA switch for only 1 block in the G Major. If you want to use Chorus instead of Flange or Univibe, you'll have to change programs in the G Major (which it sounds like you're already doing)... I don't know a way of changing the Modulat...

Re: Phantom Power Liquid Foot Pro w/ Control Switcher & PP A
Hi John,
I know the GCX is looking for 9VAC for power, but will it work okay with 12VAC, or is that too much? The Liquid Foot 12+ controller requires 12VAC...
I'm not even sure I want to go this route, but I thought I'd check out all the options.
Thanks!

IA programmability
Pardon me if this has already been asked and answered...
Are there any plans to upgrade the firmware or come out with a new GCP that will allow the user to program instant access buttons differently per program?
Thanks!
