Re: Current Fryette rig

Thanks! I love the Line 6 wireless. I lose a little bit of the response of my volume knob (hence the volume control in the rack wah) compared to a cable but overall my sound is very clean and articulate.

Re: First Go at a Rig

Sweet setup! I'm a little new with how midi works myself, but I learned a ton working on getting my whammy to talk with my GCP and the expression pedal. You might look into the Continuous Control Channels (CCs) that each preset might respond to? There might be a CC for getting the effect to go into ...

Re: GCX AND COMPRESSOR

You might also try each cable and see if its the cable dropping the audio. I had this problem with a couple of cables I built and until I tested each one I didn't know what the problem was. They would pass audio, and putting a volt meter to them they seemed to work but plugging into an amp directly ...

Re: Live rig

Whitht the digitech whammy in the rack, what do pepole usually do with it? Do you use it for other things that do not involve the actual whammy? I didn't see an expression pedal plugged into the GCP, but in my rig I rack mounted my whammy, programmed my expression pedal to Channel 11 ( I think its ...

Re: Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2 Plus Question

you should be able to run eight (8) 9V pedals from the Pedal Power 2+. As long as the current draw isn't too high (more than ~150MA per pedal) you should be good to go I think. Also if you have a pedal (or in my case a wireless unit) that requires more milliamps. Just use outputs 5 and 6. Hope that ...

Re: Courtesy Outlet into surge protector

I've found myself in similar situations from time to time. Your best bet is to always have a decent power strip/surge protector with you. I hate plugging a ton of stuff into one outlet but thats how it ends up sometimes I guess. My other guitarist spoiled us recently with a Moster Pro 3500 Power con...

Re: question about powering pedals...

Figuring out how to power all those pedals can be a pain in the butt, but its worth the time invested. I learned from my mistakes.... My best advice is to try to find all the owners manuals for your gear and see what they say. I've found that Boss pedals run anywhere from 10 milliamps to 300 milliam...
