Re: GCX power up problem
John, thanks for reply. I am powering my GCX from this: https://www.thomann.de/gb/the_tracks_vm100_voltage_meter.htm I am powering my Harley Benton powerplant with 5 pedals in it, my G-Major and GCX. I have no supplied power adapter for my GCP. I could find generic one with same current supply or hi...

Re: Why go passive?
I will try with various options. But just for curiosity satisfaction; why do they need to be passive?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: GCX power up problem
John,
I am powering GCX with original power supply and GCP is powered via MIDI cable. Could it be current issue, although GCX powers itself properly?
Cheers,
Vlado

Re: GCX CONFIGURATION DRAWINGS
Can't we make use of the two guitar inputs/outputs and then tie each one to in/return respectively? Although that means that only one guitar would have been buffered?

Why go passive?
Why do exp pedals need to be passive? I have Behringer FCV100 (manual here https://media.americanmusical.com/ItemFiles/Manual/behringer/behfcv100_manual.pdf). Should I be able to use it and how (TRS only on CV output or TRS -TS/TR on input and ouput). Are there limitations regarding potentiometers? ...

Re: GCX power up problem
I have somewhat similar issue. When I turn on my GCX and GCP, GCX starts it's LEDs but my GCP is just flashing rapidly all LEDS and the screen. The only solution is to unplug MIDI cable and plug it back but that has to be done few times. Is there a procedure which one has to be turned on first?

Re: GCX + amp Bogner alchemist
I have the same amp. If you look the schematics, You can see that 8V+ is provided via XLR cable and all buttons have one or more resistors connected to them so I suppose You are sending different voltages with different selction. I will dig in more to schematics and let you know.

This is somehow doable but you would need to sacrifice a loop. Search the forum there is one solution explained...

Re: Dual GCX, single control switcher, ground control and disappointment
I bought used DMC GCX (It says DMC instead of VL) and have Ground control pro 1.13 (from year 2012). My LEDs light up all at the same time and then scroll one by one from right to left. Is there a need to update GCX? There is no plan for complex usage. Just loops on/off and CC's to G-Major. Regards,...

A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away... +1 for these requests.
I even suggested an option to name banks in 4/8 mode so you can name your banks per songs.
