Re: Switchers receiving voltage from Channel Switch Jack
Almost all switching jacks will have some sort of voltage potential. Particularly the "make or break" type circuits that are most common. The relays in a GCX are rated quite high, in fact we haven't seen a channel or function of an amp ever actually break one. I hope that helps! Good to see you kno...

Switchers receiving voltage from Channel Switch Jack
Bear with me, I'm not an electronics expert, I can wire up a Strat by copying a Seymour Duncan diagram & that's it :) Bit of an interesting problem has come up with the BOSS ES series switchers. I'm asking about it here because I'm a GCX/GCP user & want to be informed for future amp purchases which ...

Re: Volume Boost on GCX
I am getting a volume boost from some pedals when engaged in my GCX. It happens to some of the pedals that run into my amps loop. Loop 5, (noise gate/fortin ZUUL) Loop 6 Boss giga delay, Loop 7 Ibanez Chorus. The amp is a mesa boogie rev f with the series (one knob) loop. The ZUUL is unity gain as ...

Re: Latency with Line 6 M13
Anyone figured out how to fix the m13 amp channel switch latency? cheers I'm going to sound like a Line6 hater here but their stuff is beginner-grade garbage. It's always fun watching the other gear forums. Every time Line6 release something everyone gets super excited, buys the new gear, sells it ...

Scary looking GCX Bass Rig Diagram, will it work?
Hello. While some pedals are in transit to me for my bass rig please take a loop at my proposed diagram. This is a "dual path" design. Path 1 handles the clean (with compressor and decimator always on), Path 2 handles the Dirty. I'm trying to achieve these pre-sets: Preset 1. Silent Tuning Path 1 - ...

Re: GCX engaging presets on multiple devices (one stomp)
It is the Ground Control Pro Presets that will recall the different patches on the TimeLine. You can even have the matching names displayed on the Ground Control Pro screen. The Instant Access buttons work a bit differently. They are generally used as On/Off switches for individual effects. Will yo...

Re: GCX engaging presets on multiple devices (one stomp)
Ground Control Pro can control Eight MIDI devices and four GCX switchers at once... so yea, totally! You would name your two MIDI devices within the Ground Control Pro and assign each one its own MIDI Channel. This will allow you to set a unique Program Change message for each device on every prese...

GCX engaging presets on multiple devices (one stomp)
Is it possible for the Ground Control Pro to change presets on multiple devices? Practical example before I buy this these midi products I do have the GCX system in my rig, as usual, works perfect. I would like a preset in 4P/8IA mode to engage my set loops, change the patch on the Strymon Timeline ...

Re: Presets and controlling external MIDI devices
Thanks John. I will have a good read of the boss dd500 manual. I'll be able to make a decision on my upgrade now, thanks!

Re: Presets and controlling external MIDI devices
Thanks John. I'm looking at getting the new BOSS DD500 digital delay. Think this will work with my proposed idea?
