That is exactly what I wanted. Thank you for pointing that out. It took all of 10 minutes to achieve what I needed to happen.
I'll have to write out what I did in anticipation of the day that I'm left wondering why the loops are not turning on.
Thanks John!

GCP and pedal switcher message ignored
Wonder if someone can answer this.... I checked the manual and didn't see anything like this... If the GCP sends MIDI commands to GCX and Pedal Switchers on channel 01, can you basically have the GCP send a non message to those units when changing presets? Kind of like disabling a particular device ...

Re: Switcher vs commander either/or
Hi John; Understanding that the MIDI in of the Commander is used to transmit MIDI cc and control messages on through to another device beyond the Pedal Switchers is definitely something to explore. But the reason for my questioning what the "in" is used for comes from a long standing desire to integ...

Re: Switcher vs commander either/or
In reference to the commander/pedal switcher compatibility, what is the purpose and function of the MIDI in on the commander, if the commander is basically a stand alone controller for the pedal switchers? I typically use the Commander's MIDI out to control the pedal switcher(s)and I've on occasion ...

Re: GCX and line mixer
Hi John; Thanks for guiding me through that. It works beautifully and I guess now that I can do that with any GCX loop and pedal switcher loops for parallel hookups. Just to be sure before buying anything.... is that the splitting Y cable has to be all 1/4' male TS only? A male stereo plug breaking ...

Re: GCX and line mixer
John; I currently just want two units running in parallel until I get a good grasp of the concept. You mentioned that the signal will be present at the ins of each loop. I currently have the GCX set with short jumpers on all the outs to ins of all the loops whether there's an effect in those loops o...

GCX and line mixer
Hi John; Getting straight to the point, is there a method to getting a signal to flow through all GCX loops if the signal is sent to a line mixer (via the send off an individual loop) and not returned to that same loop. I'm discovering that when activated, the signal will flow through the send as ex...

Re: remote control of GCP (?)
I suppose that laying it out in presets of 4 per bank (per song) would be the way to go. I've done it for several songs that we do and works fine. Having the instant access buttons to add in a touch of spice is great. Good for a structured song list that doesn't deviate much. If I could place my dif...

Re: remote control of GCP (?)
Oh I see :? So the outboard controller sending preset changes to the GCP can only do so in the fashion that the GCP itself works. In 10 preset mode, sending preset #1 to the GCP will in turn be recognized as preset #1 on the GCP... and #5 sent will into the GCP will be #5 on the GCP. There's no adva...

Re: remote control of GCP (?)
Thanks, John; It's fairly obvious the way you described it. So, taking a MIDI anything with presets of it's own can direct the GCP to exactly where you need it to be? (In any preset on any bank.) So MIDI controller preset 1 can send a cc message to the GCP to call up bank 4, preset 2. (for example) ...
