Re: 2 GCX doing the exact same thing
I tested it like you said and yes, one of them is the old firmware. I have spoken to ben and will arrange a replacement chip sent. You guys have support that is 2nd to none! I work in a support driven environment and you guys always go above and beyond! Thanks!

Re: 2 GCX doing the exact same thing
Thanks Nyteowl, I'll check that out when I get home... it's baffling for sure. One of my friends has almost the exact same setup. He said he just connected his, added GcX 2 in the expanders section and he was rocking and rolling.

Re: 2 GCX doing the exact same thing
I have some more info here. My two gcx are quite a bit different. One is quite old, where the other one is newer. Not sure if this makes a difference. I have a GCP plugged in, and Yes I have enabled GCX 2 in the expanders section. I have setup IA 3 to turn on and off GCX 2 - loop2. I have not saved ...

2 GCX doing the exact same thing
I have two GCX. The first one takes my "pedal" in from my GCX. From it's Midi out, I have the 2nd's "pedal in" connected. They are both activating the exact same loops when I click a preset. What gives?

I can do the following with the tap of a preset 1) Select Amp 2) Select appropriate channel on that amp 3) select extra functions (i.e. boost) 4) Select proper Patch of G Major 2 5) flip the FX loop to the proper amp 6) select compressor I am using loops 1-4 of my GCX to switch ch...

Re: OK brainiacs, I need your help
Thanks Nyteowl, this was REALLY good advice, I set this up today and it works GREAT. There is a slight bump when I move from amp to amp, but it works as expected. I have to remember to have the right combination of loops 6 7 and 8 or the routing gets sketchy. So, you stated: You can program the stat...

Re: OK brainiacs, I need your help
Right on Nyteowl!! I am going to try that as soon as I can... that will make my rig very modular as well (only have to take one amp to make it all work).
I have to invest in a labelmaker!!

Re: OK brainiacs, I need your help
In the loops, they don't sound that great out front.. not in my experience anyway. Out front would be easier, just gang up the inputs of each effect before the A/B loop.
