Re: Building new rack - need the right pedal power unit
Heh! I like that! You can power the MIDIbox2 from any output on a Pedal Power 2+ with the corresponding DIP Switch set to Normal using one of the standard all black barrel cables. Good Luck! Thanks for replying. I figured so. The problem is, remember I was out of black cables. I ordered 1 more to u...

Re: Building new rack - need the right pedal power unit
John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16.......and John Pedal Power: John, Just one more question. I received my Empress Reverb today. We already discussed the power plan for my entire rig, but I found out along the way that the pedal has a 1/4" control Jack, and therefore requires their Midibox 2 to conv...

Re: Building new rack - need the right pedal power unit
Nah - to be clear, only the Digital Power is new, based on your advice.
I've had the Pedal Power 2 for 5 years. Plenty of time to lose a few cables. LOL.
Thanks again for all of your help!

Help me Obi-"Juan" Kenobi you're my only hope Greetings John, I am assembling my rack. I have enough wires to power everything but one pedal that I listed. It's okay because I haven't ordered it yet. Re: GCX Audio Switcher and other foot controller
The Control switcher can be programmed to respond to other midi channels. It can also respond to a different set of CC messages if it comes after the GCX switcher in your midi pathway, and can be left on the same ch 16 with the GCX. Lastly, while the GCX does not respond to midi program changes (and...

Re: 2 x GCX & GCP
If you send the above mentioned SysEx message to you rig, the GCX units will auto configure themselves based on their order in the MIDI path. This message will have to be sent whenever the system is powered up. GCX #2 will respond to the following Control Change messages on MIDI Channel 16... 88-95...

factory authorized upgrade to convert loops to stereo in GCX
Can i get information about the cost and the procedure of converting my GCX loops to Stereo, to free up one side of it as mono loops for more mono stompboxes, such as overdrives? My stereo delays are gobbling up my loops! Is this something a competent person can perform, or does the unit have to be ...

Re: GCX Audio Switcher
It's quite possible that, as opposed to the buffered input causing the volume difference, your wireless unit may be the culprit. Does it have a Send Level control for adjusting the output volume? If so, perhaps you could increase the wireless output level to match the direct cable level..? [/quote]...
