Re: G Major 2 Bypass not saving...Instant Access
Hey John, I have all my instant access buttons to transmit with preset. Its the only way I can seem to make it work the way I want it to. As for other CC #'s I will have to check but I have set Global bypass to CC8 which I assigned to IA 8 button (all my CC's are just chronological from 1-8 to align...

Re: G Major 2 Bypass not saving...Instant Access
official reply from TC Electronic: "Dear David, Thank you for contacting TC Electronic Support. Normal operation for the G-Major is to retain its bypass status after cycling the power. If the bypass state is changing it is due to a message transmitted from your MIDI controller. I suggest consulting ...

Re: G Major 2 Bypass not saving...Instant Access
Hrmmm...ok thanks for the reply. This seems like a simple solution to me but its not working. The GCPro can be set to remember IA states with each preset (on or off) so you would think I could easily built the bypass ON in one particular preset and OFF in another but this is not the case. Any input ...

G Major 2 Bypass not saving...Instant Access
Hey guys, Bypass states of my g major 2 are wonky when interacting with my GCPro with IA button 8 acting as the 'bypass all' function in the g major 2. The bypassing does work when I press the IA 8 switch, but the bypass memory is not saving. If I want a preset to bypass all the fx I enable IA 8 swi...

GC Pro & Gmajor 2 not communicating
Sorry guys, I read every manual and alot of these forum posts and I still cant' get the G major 2 to respond to changes from the GC Pro. I have my Marshall 6100LM set to device 1/midi 1 in the GCP and the Gmajor 2 is device 2/midi 2. I also have the G major 2 in Midi 2 as well (in the settings). I w...

Re: GC Pro; how would you configure a preset like this?
Thank Nyteowl, Yes this is in fact my amp; so you didn't waste time typing this up. I believe those are the right instructions and I will be putting them to use if I decide to configure my rig setup this way. The only issue I had with this type of set up where the GCPro also does the amp switching w...

Re: GC Pro; how would you configure a preset like this?
Ok guys, just thinking out loud here - would love your input. I have come to grips with the idea that using my Marshall footswitch will open up presets for me since I won't have to use Preset 1 for Clean and Preset 2 to change to the crunch channel (etc. etc) Now I can essentially have more presets ...

Re: G Major 2, GC Pro & Marshall 6100LM
Yes thats it John...thanks for digging deep for me. With this being said, I guess I will have to use the 'a bank for a song' type setup because going between soft/clean parts to loud/distorted parts will require switching between, preset 1 - 2, etc. Also, since the Marshall only reads midi program c...

SIMPLE QUESTION: What do you use to label the GC Pro?
When you see stuff like this, what are people using to label the GC Pro? A label maker? Is that a permanent/hard to remove sticker?

Re: G Major 2, GC Pro & Marshall 6100LM
Or that means for every single possible preset, I have to arrange it logically so that respective presets 1,2,3& 4 correspond to amp channels; 1 (clean), 2 (crunch), 3 (crunch + fx), 4 (lead + fx) for example
