Re: I just think I have to live with the extra noise
Do you connect in the "Guitar in" (buffered signal)? Have a try in the "Guitar thru". My sound is very noisy when I connect in the "Guitar in", thus I need to plug my Decimator to cut the noise. But even without a noise gate, I hear a slight sound change, but I haven't detect a gain increase. Next t...

Using buffered "Guitar in" on GCX causing noise!
When I connect my guitar in the front "guitar in", and when my GCX back "Guitar out" or "Guitar thru" is connected directly in my "amp in" (Mesa Mark V), it produces a lot of noise on my crunch channels. But if I plug my guitar in the front "Guitar thru", then there's no more noise... I also made th...

With this settiing, I suppose I will be able to use loop 6 to 8 for my amp. Or, I'll use G-Maj2 rela...

GCP/GCX with G-Major 2 and Mesa Mark V
Hi everyone, I seek advice to connect my kit as efficiently as possible. I use a GCP/GCX with a G-Major 2, a stompbox (TS-9) and a Mesa Mark V. I intent to use the 4 presets configuration. I would like to use the IA buttons to control my stompbox and different effects in my G-M2, such as flanger and...
