Re: Ground Control Pro and Mission Engineering Exp Pedal

Ahhh - so effectively, I could have the exp pedal control volume for majority of presets, but if I have a Wah preset, then it can control the sweep instead.

Thanks again.

Ground Control Pro and Mission Engineering Exp Pedal

Hoping for a little assistance from the experts: I noticed in another post John mentioned the Mission Engineering TT switch as an IA option for tap tempo. I was wondering if you have any experience with their SP-2 exp pedal. Specifically it it a 2 channel exp pedal with a switch to change outputs. M...

Re: VL: Waiting..gcp expander....hold on to the gcp?

At the end of the day - price isn't a big factor for me either. In Australia I am looking at $1000 to buy a GCP. I can't buy the CAE gear locally, so I need to ship that from the US and I could get the RS-10 and expnader here for the same price as buying a GCP local - I prefer to support the local s...

Re: VL: Waiting..gcp expander....hold on to the gcp?

So, instead of offering a cheaper option - similar to what CAE did with the RS-10 expander (which was just over 1/2 the price of the RS-10) if we needed more IA or presets, we have to pay for a whole new GCP? Aside from the financial side - it isn't like the GCP is kind on pedalboard space, and I am...

Re: Using Pedal Switcher or GCX as an A/B switch

Thanks John - that would explain the noise I get then!! Thought it was a ground issue of some sort. I noticed if I run it through another pedal and into the return jack I am alright, which must be doing good things with the grounds - but not really practical. I am quite happy at the moment just muti...

Using Pedal Switcher or GCX as an A/B switch

Hey - is there anyway to use either of the above as an AB switch to change between 2 instruments? eg. 1 guitar/bass running into input of loop 1 on gcx and 2nd guit/bass running into the return of loop1, so switching loop 1 on or off selects between the 2? Same idea for pedal switcher... ?? Thanks

Expression Pedals - this may be a silling qu

Long story short I am looking at getting a G-Major2 and will eventually be looking at the likelihood of running 2 expression pedals to perform Mod functions on it. 1 as Vol and 1 as Exp (eg, for wah, etc). I am unable to find in the manuals for either the GCP or the G-Maj2 any reference to what peda...

Re: ecellent cables for Pedal Switcher

Hey - I use George Ls right angle plugs and the small cable.

I find that I have enough space out of my pedal switcher to run these with no issues...
