The problem was the tester, (me!) not the Giggity. Not that many possibilities, so not sure why I missed it. The solution for me was to keep the Giggity master volume low. Pedal works exactly as I hoped it would.

There are videos showing amps that appear to be on relatively low volume that get a clean overdrive sound when the Giggity loudness is turned up. I am testing a Hot Rod Deluxe and given the constraints of apartment living, cannot get the pedal to create any significant overdrive. If you have any sug...
