Nice Rack Canada | Mental Friction II

Post by Vegas »

Nice Rack Canada recently built this compact & powerful rack system for Toronto based modern rock combo, Mental Friction.

This system was constructed for the band's lead singer / 2nd guitarist. The primary design criteria was simple operation during performance, as well the system had to answer the current sonic needs & forward demands of the band's catalogue with studio grade amp tones & processing.

We employed the RJM Music MasterMind MIDI Controller (in a limited edition all white powder coated version) to handle all switching functions in the Kemper Profiling Amplifier.

Rakk Light supplied a LED Rack Light Panel with the artist's supplied logo.

Nice Rack Canada also built up an input buffer with Tuner Split to drive our #1 choice in tuners, the TC Electronic PolyTune2 Mini.

Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 4x4 supplies DC Voltage to the Rack Lights, MIDI Controller & Tuner.

What's the story behind the "Speaker 2" output being an XLR connector? Direct output from the Kemper?

Yes, direct output from Kemper as per the client request.
