The client requested a custom interface to allow everything to be in front of the amp, and also requested a Vertex Effects Systems Custom Dual Buffer that would compliment his vintage amps. Additionally he wanted a center hub with loops for all of the drives, compression, and gate because these pedals were those that were most frequently used by the client. The looper was provided by Loop Master.
Overall the board sounded huge! It's got a ton of different tonal flavors, it's extremely quite, and VERY musical.
The order of the effects are:
INTERFACE IN (from guitar)--> Sonic Research Tuner--> Gig-FX Volume/Wah (or Area 51 Wah, it's wired for both)--> KR Small Mega Vibe--> CMATMODS Boss GE-7--> MXR Classic 108 Fuzz--> D*A*M* Red Rooster--> Vertex Dual Buffer-->
Looper In--> RAF Mirage Compressor--> Hermida Zendrive--> Gas Pedals Dumbell--> ISP Decimator--> Looper Out
-->Arion SCH-1 Stereo Chorus--> Ibanez EM5 Echomachine--> Ibanez DE-7 Delay/Echo--> Tone Factor Sugar Baby Tremolo--> Xotic RC Booster--> INTERFACE OUT (to amp).
*Notes: The pedalboard instrument and power cabling is made for use with two wah pedals, and Area 51 Wah or a Gig-FX Volume/Wah. The Boss GE-7 is used with the MXR Classic Fuzz to help EQ it as per request of the client. The RC Booster at the end of the chain is to give a final EQ if needed depending on the guitars and/or amps used.
*Stand Outs: The D*A*M* Red Rooster is everything that it's claimed to be, the ultimate Treble Booster. It's the quietest on that I've every heard, and does fine both powered an on batteries. It really rocks through a Marshall JTM45 or Plexi. The RAF Mirage is also a nice compressor, it's very subtle and can get some great sounds. The Arion SCH-1 has always been a favorite of mine and the gray version seems to get a little more flangey than the black SCH-1 versions which I like for those lush chorus sounds. Also the Ibanez Echomachine is wonderful as many know and really takes everything well, a great substitute for a Tape Echo.
