Rack shelves

I've noticed a lot of people have the same rack shelves. Where are you finding them? Has anyone custom made a shelve? I have a shallow rack that I want to put a sliding shelve in. Any ideas?

Thanks

I've always been happy with the Raxxess metal sliding shelves. They slide smooth, they have a lock that clicks in when fully extended, and the shelf itself sits real low in the space so all but the tallest pedals still fit within two rack spaces. I just don't know that you will find one for a shallow (less than 14") rack. Good luck, and let us know what you find.

EDIT: Upon further investigation (trying to find the part number) I have found that the shelf I like appears to no longer be made, and the replacements all seem to put the shelf at the top of the rack space (perhaps they can be flipped upside-down?) or use a laminated wood shelf. :( Now I guess I'm really interested in what you find!

I like/use the penn-elcom sliding rack shelf, best thing about it is it's only 40 bucks. Mine holds 5 pedals, 2 switchers, and a pp2+ with all heavy duty cables and it's held up like a champ...still like new.

You can get it from parts express for a little bit more expensive, or get it here at their ebay outlet for 40 bucks, which is where I got mine:

No I don't work for them  , just an end user who found a good deal. Great shelf for the buck.

That's the one I use too. It works great! The arms are adjustable on the side too so you can fit it to the size of your case and support it on the rear rack rails!

I have a case that held two heads and converted the top to a rack. So I only have 11 inches to work with. I ended up fabricating a sliding shelve I bought at GC. I cut the rolling arms down to fit. Although it's a rough slide, it works. I wish they made the heavy duty sliders smaller than a foot. I will try ans post some pics soon. It's a bit ghetto rigged but it works!
