Will a PPAC power a Roland GR-33 synth?

Post by skippertronic »

The monstrous transformer that ships with the GR-33 reads 14vAC and 800 mA. Would it be possible to use the voltage doubler into inputs 1 and 2 of the AC, or is a current doubler also necessary? Thanks.

The Outputs of the Pedal Power AC cannot be combined like the outputs of the different DC Pedal Power units. The 14V requirement further complicates things as the Pedal Power AC will provide 9VAC or 12VAC.

In short, you will still have to use the supplied adapter with the GR-33.

I hope that helps!
