Shure PGXD system reciever on my pedal board

Post by tjmicsak »

How can I power this unit on by pedal board using a PP2+?

It is a barel connector, takes 12–18 V DC @ 150 mA, supplied by external
power supply (tip positive).

WIll I need a reversing barrel to barrel connector that then is tip positive?

You can power this from output 5 or 6 on a Pedal Power 2+ with the corresponding DIP switch set away from Normal using one of the Reverse Polarity barrel cables (VL part# PPREV).

Because it also runs on two AA batteries, it may be possible that the receiver draws much less than 150mA. If so, you might be able to power it using any one of outputs 1-4 with the corresponding DIP switch set away from Normal.

I hope that helps!
