So I have a Pedal Power Mondo. My Eventide H9 arrives tomorrow. I know it needs a center positive plug so obviously I'll need to get one of those. It says 9v DC at 500ma on the manual but I've also heard from a post from Cioks on their forum it can be powered with a 12v 3.5ma connection...which would mean the Mondo will power it.
Can I get the fact separated from the fiction here?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Can I power my Eventide H9 with my Pedal Power Mondo
The 12V business is a little sketchy as the specs in the manual only state 9V 500mA, centre positive.
Whereas on the pedal and manual, it has 9-12VDC 4.5W.
I'd tend to use it as 9V with a current doubler to be safe. You should have the centre positive (red) cables already, unless you've used them all up.
Current doubler into the output 5/6 on the PP2+ side, switches set to normal, current doubler to red cable to H9. You might be able to get away with using a 400mA output without a current doubler but someone would need to test the draw.

Re: Can I power my Eventide H9 with my Pedal Power Mondo
Just got this straight from Eventide for anyone else who might have the same question...so to answer the question...if you use the 12v 400ma regulated output on the Pedal Power Mondo there is enough current for both startup and standard operation for the unit to work. 9v 400ma won't work because it requires about 500ma to start it even though it operates at 400ma during normal operation.
Hi Ty,
Below are the specific power requirements for powering any of our stompboxes. We only recommend using Eventide power supplies, but if you can meet the following requirements, then you should be fine.
MF, TF, PF, Space and the H9 can operate from a 5W power source that supplies regulated 9 to 12VDC max.
The minimum required power ranges from a maximum of 4.5W at power up (all LEDs lit) to about 3.6W in normal operation depending on how many LEDs are lit.
For a regulated 12VDC,
The current requirement is 380mA at power up and 300mA in normal operation. Do not use unregulated 12V.
For a regulated 9VDC,
The current requirement is 500mA at power up and 400mA in normal operation.

Well there you have it...
I was just about to post a reply when you popped in with the above info.
If you want to send me your H9, I can confirm any of this if you would like.

I'll be mostly using it for reverbs and redundant delays as I already have a Strymon Timeline and Mobius as well as a POG 2. I figure having the option of additional Eventide effects that I can pick and choose from as well as the smaller form factor made it a better choice than buying the Eventide Space.
Now I can finally assemble my board...I'll post pics when I'm done.
BTW the Pedal Power Mondo is brilliant. For the first time ever I'm able to set up a board without having to have two separate power supplies. It literally does it all. Well done.
