Is there a low-profile way to daisy chain VL PSUs?

Post by nfazzi01 »

I have a large pedalboard with a Mondo, (2) Pedal Power II's, and a Pedal Power AC. I was wondering if anyone has any nice tricks to cleanly daisy chains the units together without taking up much space?

My best solution based on some research is raising them off of the surface of my board slightly to accommodate the angle of the cords in the attached link. This is the best thing I can find.

IMHO, a daisy chain product made by Voodoo Lab (custom order lengths) would be a useful product to a lot of people. If you look at the low profile plug attached, the depth is shallow (which is great) but the cable angle is not conducive to a unit that is presumably sitting on a flat surface. If Voodoo Lab changed this cable so that the angle of the cable leaving the plug was 90 degrees if could within the height of a PSU an be really convenient for all of us who are trying to get every last inch out of our pedalboards.
