thank you for finally getting this out. I'm excited to get this on my board, but one question before I do:
I (as well as many others) have been back and forth with Eventide about powering options for their -factor stompboxes. For liability reasons, they have to say that their included power supply is the only acceptable power source for their pedal, so I'm wondering how extensively the ISO.5 has been tested with the various -factor pedals and other similar high-current devices. I'm assuming it's great, but just wanted to check.
Thanks again.
ISO.5 Finally!!! But One question
Re: ISO.5 Finally!!! But One question
Also, I checked the manual and it says to power Eventide pedals from the 12V 300mA output, but they come with a 9V supply. Why the difference?
Re: ISO.5 Finally!!! But One question
We have powered and played through our TimeFactor in EVERY configuration that we say works. Have you measured the output of the "9V" adapter that comes with the Factor pedals? Compared both loaded down and not? I think doing so may answer quite a few questions (or raise all new ones... oops). If the concern is that somehow there will be a negative effect upon the circuit that accumulates over time until total failure occurs then I guess only time can prove to you that this is an unfounded concern. Plug it in and enjoy. There are better things to worry about... like that weird change coming up that is so hard to nail, or that one riff you always want to play half a step down, or never again playing that one pattern you learned as a kid that your fingers always want to fall into no matter how much you try not to let them. ( I swear I am not projecting! )

Re: ISO.5 Finally!!! But One question
Another question: will the ISO5 fit the undermount brackets that come with Pedaltrain boards? Thanks!

Yes, the ISO-5 will fit under any Pedaltrain that allows for it using the same brackets.

On page 6 in the ISO-5 manual, it says that the Eventide stompboxes should be powered from the high-current 12V output. I thought that the Eventide boxes should be powered from the high-current 9V output?JohnClark wrote:We have powered and played through our TimeFactor in EVERY configuration that we say works.
