It isn't always so cut and dry. What are your needs? Specifically, what device do you wish to power?

I Asked directly to Glab, the Gsc-2 requires 330 ma at his best at 12v.That is without using 9v outs. So it might work, since i dont think that i will never use all 6 loops, but i MIGHT risk a power fail.

So i decided to power via a pedal power ac and two flatliner six. Here's the layout:

Image

Pedals at lower floor, midi switcher and tuner in the second.Hidden, starting from left there will be the first six,the pedalpower ac and the second six. There's still A LOT of work to do:up to today i am waiting for steel panels to cover it and to replace the "first floor base". Then i have to add 2 switch to pilot the jamman, and 1 for tap tempo. Also i want a clock (yes, exactly a digital clock! :o ) to understand how show is going.

This isnt the cheapest and the best solution either, but i need it fully working for 18th dec,and after so many years of changing, i am pretty tired too. The best "real" option was 1 versa, the best "dream" was pp2+ regulated, but i had too much noise from digital switching ac supplies and wha,i was forced to go ppac.

Also, i wanted all pedals to be isolated (maybe this can be only a "caprice",but it will be my last wiring) and have a spare room for newcomers, whatever they are 9-12-15 or 18V.

I hope they get this figured out before another NAMM show comes and goes with no ISO.5 available for the masses. I plan on stopping by their booth to inquire.

Ask away at NAMM, but by then you will have likely missed the early opportunity...

As un-official an announcement as they get but an announcement none the less. Also, take a look at the front page of the Voodoo Lab site for some not so subtle changes.
