pp2 and Digitech Jamman

Post by svante »

Hello,
Can i power my Jamman and my Radial Tonebone with the courtesy outlet? The Jamman runs on a 9vAc 1300 ma Adapter, and the Tonebone runs on a 15v 400 ma adapter.

That should work just fine. The Courtesy Outlet is rated for a max output of 200W @line voltage, which the power consumption of your two wall wart adapters will be nowhere near. Good luck!

Hello, does the digitech jamman pedal require a specific cable? It says in the manual that the appropriate lead would be the standard black cable, going from outputs 5 - 6 set to normal (as it requires power from a 9V AC 1300 ma current). Only trouble is it doesn't fit! It seems as if the pin inside the socket is too large for the power cable.

The red barrel ending cable is the only one that does fit and the pedal lights up as if it's working, but there is no signal getting to the amp (I was also just experimenting here as it doesn't match the correct voltage). I placed it last in my effects chain.

Many thanks!

If you are powering these from the Courtesy Outlet then you won't be using the Pedal Power cables. Did I misunderstand something here?
