Q1) I am building a new pedal board slowly (based on cash on hand) and plan to use an Eventide Timefactor and Modfactor in addition to a Little Big Muff Pi, TS-808 reissue, MXR Silicon 108, Sparkle Drive and a Wahzoo.
By conventional wisdom both of these are at the amp end of the chain. I have a PP2 and a Pedal Switcher. If I read the instructions as well as what I've seen here on the forum correctly I'll need two PP2's right? I know I'll eventually need a second pedal switcher as well to get the combinations I want. In the mean time, I can use the conveinence power outlet of the PP2 for the second Eventide box's wall wart, no? It's all a matter of wat to do in what order to keep the tone and be able to play our very occasional gigs.
Q2) I have a new to me Korg PitchBlack Plus tuner which has two guitar inputs which is really nice for quick swaps between two different guitars setup with two different tunings. Is ther a huge difference betwen using one of the pedal switcher loops and just running the tuner into the either buffered or direct input on the Pedal Switcher? I know I'll eventually work this out by lsitneing to tone but any advice up fornt would be most welcome.
eventide Timefactor -pedal power
Re: eventide Timefactor -pedal power
I am running both a Timefactor and a Pitchfactor plus a Boss NF-1 and RJM Mini Line Mixer in my rig with PP2 PLus with no problems.JohnClark wrote: Above you see that we are successfully powering the Factor pedals without issue.
I use inputs 5 and 6 both with red barrel Line 6 style cables and both set to the ON position.
This is so much more convenient than using those huge Eventide power supplies which have their mains sockets upside down!!!
