Can I power a Line 6 Helix HX with Voodoo Lab?

I'm about to build a new board using the PX-8+ and Dingbat board, but I'm trying to decide on what power supply to use. My biggest concern will be powering a Line 6 Helix HX (Effects only version of Helix). Is there a Voodoo Lab product that can do this? I believe that power supply is 500ma at 9V. At least that's that the only spec I could find. But I'm wondering if it's just using that power supply because it exists and is actually lower (I really hoping it's lower). Any help would be fantastic!

Either one of these supplies:

Pedal Power 4 x 4
Pedal Power MONDO

could be used but with also a custom cable available from Voodoo Lab (to order email inquiry to info@voodoolab.com or call 707 545-0600).

To power your HX Effects use two 9VDC high current capacity (400mA) outputs and a custom cable (current doubler with 2.5mm output barrel, standard polarity).


Or, if using Pedal Power 2 Plus, power it from the AC courtesy outlet with its adapter/wall-wart.

What about a PP2+ using two of the high current outputs?

No, as outputs 5 and 6 are 250mA capacity each, combining them as such will not suffice to power the HX (two 400mA outputs are necessary).

However, you can certainly power it from the Pedal Power 2 Plus AC courtesy outlet with its adapter!
